There is so much need in Nepal it is easy to be overwhelmed. It is essential that we set achievable objectives and realistic timeframes. Our focus is restricted to the needs of a specific area, Tandrang and its ten schools and 2,000 pupils.

Our Immediate objectives are:

1. SAFE AND SECURE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: The biggest challenge we face is new school build. All the schools in Tandrang are in a state of disrepair. Three schools have fallen down and due to lack of funds are only partly rebuilt. Our long term infrastructure projects include 1 High schools and 5 Primary schools.

2.NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. It is one of our immediate objectives to ensure no child of Tandrang misses out on the opportunity to attend school due to lack of funds for basic necessities such as uniform or books.Support our "Child 2 School"program.

3. NO CHILD LABOUR. By way of a locally administered child education assistance fund, we will provide sponsorship to reduce drop out rates. Special attention will be given to the poorer members of the community and Girls who are often denied the benefits of an education due to the need to support the family by supervising younger siblings. In Nepal there is no early childcare provision up to the age of 6. We will fund pre school kindergardens.

Other objectives include:

Educational Aid:We strongly beleive in quality education.No child should be denied a quality education due to lack of resource, be it sufficient teachers, teacher training, information or classroom facilities. We will fund ReadingRooms, Text books, libraries and Englishe teacher salaries.Support our "Books 4 Children" program

Future Potential:It is a long term objective to encourage and support pupils to attend further education beyond the region and fullfill their full potential. We will support this need via our sponsorship program.

Sanitation Water and Health:Most of our schools have no direct available source of clean water and inadequate sanitation. It is our objective to provide such basic infrastructure as running water, washrooms and rainwater collection systems. We will fund auxillary nurses salaries.

6. Womens Development: We will support the village womens education program and other community based initatives
